How the numbers are worked out
The calculator turns settings into what players experience: real minutes per in-game day, and how long a given egg takes at your hatch speed. With that you can shape the server around the sessions your group really plays instead of guessing at multipliers.
The formula
- hours = (base hours × egg multiplier) ÷ (comfort modifier × incubator speed)

Common mistakes
Hatch time is the setting servers most often leave wrong. At the default it is long enough that a casual group may never see a large egg hatch, which is why so many servers cut it hard and leave everything else untouched.
