Check if your ARK: Survival Ascended server is online

ARK has always answered queries on a port of its own, and that is the number-one reason an Ascended server works for its players yet never shows in the browser.

Check ARK: Survival Ascended Server

Type the server's address to query it.

The ports ARK: Survival Ascended uses

Joining and querying use two different UDP ports, and this tool needs the query one. Survival Evolved guides frequently list a third port too, but Ascended does not need what the older game did — go by your own server's configuration, not by a setup carried over from ASE.

Still offline? Try this

Query port open but the check times out? Wait a little. On a big save an ARK server can spend several minutes loading, and it stays silent to queries until it is completely up, so a check fired straight after a restart calls a server offline when it is only still booting.

Rather not run the server yourself?

These tools are free and funded by the two hosting services we run. If you want a server that is already set up, here they are.
