Free to use, no account
Every tool on the site is free and needs no account. You may use the results for your own servers, for servers you run for other people, and in guides you write, with or without a link back.
Results are guidance
The tools are built from game documentation, the games’ own server files and testing, and they are checked when games update. They can still be wrong for a version we have not seen, a modded install or an unusual setup. Read a generated config before you use it, keep a backup of the file it replaces, and treat RAM and hardware figures as planning estimates rather than guarantees.
Your servers and your network
You are responsible for the servers you run and for changes you make to your router or firewall. The port guides tell you which ports a game needs and which ones should stay closed; opening anything beyond that is your decision.
Fair use of the checkers
The server status and port checks connect to the address you enter. Only check servers you run or have permission to test. Do not use the checkers to scan address ranges, to probe systems you do not control, or to send automated requests in bulk. Each visitor can run a limited number of checks per minute, and requests that look like abuse are refused.
Other services
Some tools pass your input to other services to answer it: game servers you query, CurseForge for modpack and mod lookups, and Mojang for Minecraft usernames. Their own terms apply to what they return. Game names and logos belong to their owners; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game developer or publisher.
Advertising and our own services
The site is paid for by advertising and by the hosting services run by the same team, Spawnly and Cobbly. Where a page recommends a host, it recommends one of ours, and says so. Ads come from third-party networks; we do not endorse the products they show.
Liability
The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it is complete, current or available at any given time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it, including lost game data, downtime or hosting costs. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
