How the numbers are worked out
Each quota you fill pushes the next one up by a growing amount, so it compounds instead of rising in a straight line. The calculator projects the quota ahead so you can see which run is likely to finish the file.
The formula
- projected = current scrap + (days left + overtime days) × average per day
- surplus = projected − quota

Common mistakes
Since the growth compounds, beating a quota by a wide margin early on does nothing for you later — surplus does not carry over, and the next target comes from the quota, not from what you delivered. Sell what you need and hold the rest back for the run where it counts.
