How the numbers are worked out
Your server's maturation multiplier sets how fast a baby grows, and a different setting controls the gap between imprints. From those, the calculator shows when the baby reaches each stage and when every imprint request is due — so before you breed anything you know whether that species fits the hours you really have.
The formula
- maturation hours = base maturation ÷ maturation multiplier
- cuddle interval = base interval ÷ cuddle multiplier
- cuddles = floor(maturation hours ÷ cuddle interval)
- imprint = min(100%, cuddles × imprint per cuddle × imprint quality)

Common mistakes
These two settings affect each other in a way that surprises people. Speed up maturation without shortening the cuddle interval and the baby grows up before it has had all its imprints, leaving it with a lower final percentage. Tuning a server for 100% imprints means changing both together.
