How the numbers are worked out
The calculator weighs seed cost, growing time, whether the crop regrows, fertiliser and your professions, and gives you profit per day instead of profit per harvest. Per day is what matters: a slightly cheaper crop that keeps regrowing can outearn a pricey one you have to replant.
The formula
- grow days = max(1, base grow days × (1 − fertiliser speed ÷ 100))
- harvests = 1 + floor((days left − grow days) ÷ regrow days)
- sale price = base × quality multiplier × profession multiplier
- profit = harvests × planted × sale price − planted × seed cost

Common mistakes
Processing reshuffles the whole table. A crop that looks ordinary when sold raw can become the farm's best earner once kegs and preserves jars get involved, so compare the raw and processed figures before you give a season over to it.
